Sam B's Finding Out interview!

Here's Sam B's Finding Out interview - he questioned his dad about what it was like for him when he was at school! This is especially impressive as Sam made the video by using a variety of iPad apps (eg, Garageband for the backing track) to create his finished piece of work - well done, Sam!

  1. Great post Sam. You had well prepared questions. I like how your compared modern aspects of school to your Dad's era. It is interesting to see how times have changed. Well done.

  2. Hello Sam,

I found your interview very interesting. I know much has changed in schools since I was your age. In fact, much has changed since I started teaching over thirty years ago.

When I started teaching, I was considered a high tech teacher. I made use of an 8mm movie projector, a slide projector and a cassette player in my class. Desktop computers hadn’t been invented. There were no videocassette recorders, DVDs or CDs. I made use of my first computer in class in 1981.

I can only imagine the fun I would have had with classes back then if we had internet and blogging available. You post did make me wonder, how much different will classes be in the future when you might have your own children asking you what school was like?

    1. Thank you for your comment I can't believe you didn't have computers. When you have alot of luxuries it's easy to forget that some people didn't have them.
