Borth Day 2 - Animalarium Trip, by Beth & Ella

On Monday we were on the coach to Borth: it took just over 2 hours for us to get there. When we arrived we had our lunch then headed to the beach. While we were at the beach we had certain things to collect in our dorm groups. Then we walked along the long, long beach to the sand dunes where first we all were told the rules then we began to climb higher and higher till we reached the top of the sand dunes mountain. After we raced up then all slid down on our bums. Then we went back to our dorms and finally saw what they were like! Everyone in our dorm bagseyed a bunk bed but decided the next night that we would switch. Later on we had our dinner in the dinning room. We went to the tuck shop 1 by 1. Our dorm stayed up quite late sharing out sweets we didn’t eat much of it though (but we  will have all the rest tonight)!

Tuesday: we started the day off by having our breakfast! Then we all had showers and got ready to head off to the animalarium! There were loads of animals and we all went off in groups to look at them. We also bought stuff at the gift shop (ice-creams and souvenirs). There were two play parks: they were fun to play on! We fed some of the animals (£1 for a cup of food) and then went onto the park again! After that we held snakes around our necks (in threes) and it was really scary at first, but then it got easier and we held TWO! Then we headed back to have our lunch. After lunch we went to the beach and had some free time; until it rained! We went to the class-room (the one in Borth) and did video diaries and did our Borth diaries, also we made flags for the next day because we are making sand castles on Wednesday morning (in dorm groups) to win a competition between the different dorms!

We've got more mail!

Our letter-writing project is starting to get some replies! Before half term Ben had a reply from David Walliams and Cayla and Jade had replies from Fleur Hitchcock and yesterday we received two more letters! Ella got one from Rachel Renee Russell, the author of the Dork Diaries, and Becky got a letter from the Queen! Well done girls, and here are the letters they received!

Le weekend dernier , je suis all’ee au pac d’ attractions avec ma famille, c’etait super! Nous sommes all’es sur le grand huit et sur le train fantome. II y avait des squelettes,des araign’ees et un loup! C’etait effrayant!

Ella's 100wc - week 29:

Suddenly the pain in my arm whent wild: the creecher scratching and biting my strong, yet damaged arm. The terrifying creacher swooped down again, scratching even harder making my wound bigger. The blood spilled out of my leathery arm. His piercing eyes look down at me like a bull.

His wings flap as a giant gust of breath-taking wind sweeps me to the other end of the misty forest. My life is an endless pain of horror and gilt. This is my life in the white frosted forest.

I think I'm about to die as I see the bird with its claws as sharp as a knife, inline with my throat...

“Yay, thanks mum you're the best!!!” I screamed delightfully as I ran out of the room with my best mates. “Come on guys, let’s go to the meadows” I said with a wonderful grin on my face, yet I knew something would happen: I could feel it that something mysterious, dark, and gloomy would happen to me and my beloved friends...

The mystery was unfolded I knew that something would happen...

Me and my friends were walking along the deep, foggy  river as we walked a strange feeling went up my spine. Something wet, something slimy what is it where did it come from what is it doing??? “ahhh”I screamed...

“Mum the noise was deafening!!! I’m not lying!!!” I screamed at her  “on no mum it’s here again” I shreacked “nonsense” my mother answered “umm mum look!!!” I screamed at her “ahhh” she yelled...
