Athens or Sparta? YOU decide!

We have been creating persuasive speeches in Literacy and here's some of the ones we performed an Ancient Greece day - would you rather be in Athens or Sparta? Make sure you vote in our poll on the right-hand side of the screen!

  1. Excellent videos, chaps! How did you feel when you were recording them with the rest of the class watching? Sorry the sound doesn't quite match up - I'll try to sort it!

  3. Brilliant! Your green screen really made it feel as if you were there! I love your persuasive arguments and use of connectives. I also thought your use of rhetorical questions were very effective. I like the idea of being a Spartan girl and learning about how to fight however, I would not like to live in 'Spartan' conditions so I think I would have to choose to be an Athenian and live in comfort.
    Great work everyone!

  5. Girl Power! I voted Sparta because I was persuaded by the logic in the speech that women are important. Don't be afraid to have voted for Sparta Mr Morris, they have warriors to protect you there!
